My friends Marilyn and Barbie came to speak to me about some issues today. I'm so grateful. I spent the day in a state of conviction and because of their influence, along with my own repentance, I believe I've made a breakthrough.
I had a similar experience with some of my own friends this past week...repentance and breakthrough are some of the sweetest gifts our Papa God has to offer, are they not? I think of that verse about the correction of friends being sweeter than kisses from a stranger (maybe I'm not quoting it right, but there's something like it in Proverbs somewhere).
I'm celebrating your breakthrough and looking forward to a time very soon when our lives will be settled enough to start talking about another date with you, John, and the kids. We're house hunting this week, hoping to have a place to move into just after Thanksgiving. We would love to have your prayers!
